About Us
Lawrence and Emily Hartley, have been married for over 25 years and have worked together for years with a strong restaurant pedigree, managing events at the historic Strawberry Hill House and running the Cloister Coffee House in Twickenham.
In 2018 they took over the old Café Rouge site on Shepherds Bush Road and transformed it into a much loved neighbourhood restaurant, Le Petit Citron. This Brook Green restaurant is a neighbourhood favourite, offering a warm welcome, excellent service, and of course, delicious Provençal cuisine.
With La Bouffe, they bring the same relaxed, neighbourhood dining experience to Fulham, this time with an authentic Parisian Bistro accent. They also pride themselves on customer service and our La Bouffe team always provide a warm welcome and friendly service.
Lawrence and Emily are already enjoying a warm welcome from the Parsons Green and Wandsworth Bridge Road community and have been wowed by the support received from neighbours and local businesses.
Our Restaurant
Our Parsons Green Restaurant is a small intimate venue with a bijou terrace, light airy furnishings, red and white checked table cloths with a warm & welcoming service
Bouffe is slang for food. The French use the term "bouffer" to mean "to eat", it's a synonym. For example, "j'ai envie de bouffer" is the same as "j'ai envie de manger". ( « I need to eat « )
The food is classically influenced with a seasonally changing À La Carte menu, a great value Prix Fixe and a daily changing specials board.
Watch out for Snails Montorgueil, Onglet Steak, Confit de Canard, Crème Brulée and so much more….
Drinks wise we serve up French aperitifs, cocktails & some of France’s best affordable wines on our short precise list.
